Irrigated Field moisture level from air - LFMonty - 01-30-2013 03:00 PM

Hi I was wondering about aerial inspections of irrigated fields and if anyone has any useful info on it? And if the camera (E60bx with a wide angle lens) would do the job?

The paper I have attached has some information that might be useful. Depending on the resolution you need on the ground, the E60 should do the trick. By varying either or both altitude and lens choice, you should be able to achieve a good balance between field of view and spatial resolution.

Thank you Gary. Interesting paper. I never thought of checking pesticide application as something that IR could be used for.
