Thermal Gradience
I use IR for electrical inspections and i have been seeing a lot heat past connection point and up into the wire. Can someone tell me if Thermal Gradience is a problem that needs attention or if it is common for wire to be very warm at the termination point?

Hi Jake,
Can yoy post a photo and the radiometric jpeg?
For me it is an internal problem of the device.

Hi Jake,

I found an older thread on electrical breaker temp ratings that you may find interesting.
