Ext. Optics Temp. & Ext. Optics Trans.
Hi everyone.

I just started using Flir Tools to analyze IR pictures. I understand the settings such as Emissivity and Reflected Apparent Temp. but I don't know what Ext. Optics Temp. & Ext. Optics Trans. mean.

Can someone please help me understand. How do I set them and are these values critical to the estimated temperature of the object?

Thanks

External Optics are defined as extra lenses, filters, heat shields, IR windows, sightglasses, etc. that are placed between the camera and the object being measured.
