Of course, with medical pallete in order you can see clearly the temperature steps (isotherms): in this case the healthy palm has only blue & greeen colours (around 15ºC) but the ill palm with red palm weevil has higher temperaturas (pink, red, orange & yellow colours).

Yes, it is the ill one since it has some yellow areas (the yellow colour according the colour palette in this thermogram is near 37.5 ºC = hyperthermia)
